Crafts at Warwickz Farm

Warwickz Farm offers an increasing variety of craft classes in the warm and cosy environment of our Red Barn.
The focus for 2007 will continue to be beginners and fairly basic classes that allow would-be crafters a chance to try their hand at a leisurely pace in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.
Some of our regulars say they get as much enjoyment out of the social interaction with fellow creative people as the creativity itself.
Our tutors
2007 features patchwork, quilting, embroidery and appliqué projects with our regular tutor, the internationally regarded Pam Christensen.
And along with Pam’s classes, we have the highly respected and exceptionally talented textile artist Jane van Keulen taking workshops on a number of projects including:
- fabric sandwiches
- whimsical wraps
- fabric bookbinding
- felt bags
You can view more of Jane’s work at her web site.
Please see the Class Schedule for more details which will be updated throughout the year
Farewell to Mary
We would like to take this opportunity to farewell one of the foundation members of the Warwickz Farm craft classes, Mary Young, who is moving to the North Island.
Not only has Mary been a regular class attendee over the past 18 months she has also become an active supporter and dear friend of Warwickz Farm who will be greatly missed by us all.
As you will see from this montage of Mary's creations, while adding laughter and warmth to our classes she has also developed her skills as a very capable crafter.
We wish you all the very best for the future Mary, we will miss you.
